CNC Circuit Board Tracer

This would allow me to prototype a circuit board by routing the traces by a computer controlled router.  I’ve only done a little research on the idea, though, I think about how great it would be to have one very often.

Computer interface with the Fireworks Igniter

With the PIC I’m going to use (18f4550), I should be able to simply add a usb interface to a computer, allowing for a computer controlled show.  This will be the next step in that project – if I actually get the first part one.

18f4550 Development board

The 18f4550 is a very cheap, powerful PIC that has inherent USB capabilities.  There are many things that could be experimented with on this chip.  I may consider buying one instead of making one however, since I need a new programmer anyway.
